 The Easterner is published every Wednesday during Fall, Winter, and Spring except during the holiday breaks and final exam periods. The Easterner is distributed in Cheney campuses and local businesses. We also distribute to the Spokane Center and Riverpoint Campuses. Eastern Washington University has a unique blend of traditional, commuter, and non-traditional students. We print three thousand copies per press run. The Easterner runs an average of 10-12 pages per issue. We address student issues of News, Campus Life, Diversity, Opinion and Sports.

  • 10% discount for Eastern Washington University organizations

Bulk Discounts

  • 5% discount: Same ad 4 times per quarter
  • 10% discount: Same ad 8 times per quarter
  • 15% discount: Same ad 10 times per quarter
Inserts Mechanical Requirements
Inserts will only be run in increments of 3000. The cost to run 3000 inserts is $300.Inserts can be mailed directly to our printer:Griffin Publishing Inc.C/O The Easterner 2210 N. Dollar Spokane, WA. 99212 Contact us for more information. A full page advertisement is 11” wide and 22” deep with 6 ad columns to each page. Column widths are as follows:
